Ok, I have a JTAG and I was in the process to add second fan to the top over the heatsink to provide more air flow.
After blowing it out with canned air, I plugged it back in and bang RROL 0031. Ok, no big deal I had this before when some solder was touching a capacitor by my heat sink. After looking for hours I came across this:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
R2E3, smallest resistor EVER! (Not really)
So, after some research I removed it and was going to replace it. But out of curiosity I turned my Xbox back on and it power cycled (then over heated). So, Hmmm anomaly?
I put it back together and bang RROL 0031. CRAP!!!!
So I took it apart and figure it was just a fluke so I tried to solder the resistor back on... Note I said tried. With that happening, I accidentally removed the other 3 that were there with it and yea...well now I am stuck with this mess:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
The pads lifted on the middle one and well the solder is just a mess on the other two.
Best way to fix it? (preferably someone else )
Can it be fixed?
Trash can?
Thanks.[i]

I dunno it is kinda worth fixing. Its one of the latest Jasper 512mb boards that was able to be jtagged. (06-09 or something). So in my opinion it is kinda worth it. I don't want to fork out 450 bucks for a new jasper when I got this one for 180 NIB!

Hey, I have a Jasper that is fully working with the original x clamps still intact. I have been sitting on it for months now waiting for an exploitable Jasper CPU..
The Jasper that I have isn't exploitable and didn't have the original dvd drive. I can sell you this Jasper and could send it to Icy for him to Swap CPU's and Jtag for you?

How much would you like for that board?
I have a couple xboxs lying around here I will go through them later to see what they are ( I think they are Falcons but I have to check.)

It would be a complete Jasper console working, just plays dvd's....He can Swap CPU from your old board onto the working one and flash the keys onto the drive and be good to go.
Just throw me a good offer on it, after all it is a Jasper but I'm open to offers.
