Tired of converting HD Movies and Files to .Avi and .Wmv? There's a simpler way that I don't think many people know of.

Background Information:
HD movies you download on the internet are mostly in .MKV containers. The video itself is encoded in x264 codec and the audio is encoded in different codecs. Most ranging from AC3 to DTS. The Xbox 360 can play x264 videos with out any problems. The only thing stopping the Xbox 360 from playing HD content you download is the audio codec and the .MKV container (unless you have Windows 7). What GOTSent does is it converts the Audio from AC3/DTS/Etc. to AAC, a playable audio codec. It does not convert the video stream (unless you re-encode), meaning you do not loose video quality.

For me, it only takes only about 20-30 minutes to covert the container of a 1080p movie, and only about 10 minutes to convert the container of 720p movie. Below are my computer specs:

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz
RAM: 3.00 GB
System type: 32-bit
Video Memory: 1GB

Tutorial

1. Extract GOTSent from it's .RAR File.
   
2. Optional; Extract Nero AAC Encoder from it's .RAR File. Copy Neroaacenc.exe to the GOTSent folder.
   
3. Download your HD (.MKV/x264) Movie to your computer from your movie source (Torrents, Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc.)
   
4. Once you have your HD Movie (720p, 1080p), extract it from it's .RAR files, if it is in one.
   
5. Next, open up GOTSent ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
   
6. Load up your HD Movie (Sourcefile) and select and Output folder (Desktop).
   
7. Set your Priority to Low (Bad PCs) or High (Good PCs).
   
8. Set your Target to Xbox 360 or PS3.
   
9. Optional; If you need subtitles, your out of luck. you will need to re-encode the movie which will result in loss of quality and a wait time of 4+ Hours to re-encode the HD Movie.
   
10. Check "Split > 4GB".
    
11. Now click AC3Filter options.
    
12. Match the AC3Filter options to the onces below:

13. Press Convert!
    
14. Now in a matter of minutes, NOT HOURS you will be able to view your HD Movie on your Xbox 360 or PS3!

Remember to NOT CHECK ANYTHING ELSE. If you do, you might spend hours converting the file or you will loose video quality and/or the output file will be corrupted!

After you have converted your .MKV file, you can also use YAMB ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) to join the output files into 1 file.

I myself use Torrents to download movies, programs, music, etc. into my PC. I don't use public trackers (PirateBay, Isohunt, Etc). I use private trackers which are 100% safe and are pretty fast. I get around 2.00MB/s down on a newly released HD movie.
