Infinity Ward, Have said they will be new game modes.
Such as,
Boneyard (I believe its called)
A free-For-All where theres no perks, No killstreaks and No attachments!
They WERE Supposed to add this in Call Of Duty 4, But they never did.
Global Thermonuclear War (GTW)
This was supposed to come out with the Stimulus Package but never did
And one which was rumored to be back isssss
War! Yes the brilliant game that Trayarch made could be back.
These are the games modes i know of that could be coming to MW2.
Post if theres anything else!
Note - IW Get Off Your Asses And Do This! ;p

had anyone else seen a new game mode be released in a map pack? i may have only had my xbox since december but i've never heard of that happening before.
