im guessing your about 10? if you were old enough and had a job you would know that there are laws keeping you from having a lot of pocket money. When you grow up you will understand that the more money you have, the more money the government gets to take from you. part of the cut goes to the employees, taxes, advertisement, sponsors and many more. big companys like microsoft are not stupid and if they have extra money, they know it will go to taxes if they dont use it. this money covers all the medium size funds such as security. i think someone just got smacked !

It definately should be free for God's sake,i mean come on, both Xbox and Microsoft are multi-Billion dollar industries? why the hell do they need more? :s :nyancat:

Think about it. PSN got hacked, their online is free, which means that they don't have good protection. So if we pay for our online services some of that money goes into security funds, protecting from hackers. So its smart for Microsoft makes us pay. Plus its cheap for such an awesome service, especially with YouTube and Bing both coming in the Fall

I think after paying for one year, it should be free.
