During the school year when i had to study 24/7 for SAT's and then go to practice i just wanted to quit and get away from it all. So i realized when i dream i can do anything i want! So lucid dreaming is when your body is asleep but your mind is still active which means you can control andthing in your dream. So if i was dreaming that i jumped off a building then I couldn't go... Hm i want wings!
You would go i'm gonna land on a pillow truck. It has to be within Your minds limits.If you believe right now that you could grow wings and fly then you could. But anywayyssss, When you grow excited or in this case close to death. That's most likely during a REM cycle. During a REM cycle you can experience a surge of adrenaline. Which will wake you up. So when you die in your dream. Your body and mind go Wait i just died... What's going on? Then your mind realizes your asleep so it sends your body in momentary shock which jolts you awake. Just like a nightmare, When your scared and your hearts pounding and you realize that it's a dream, then you wake up!!!
