Ok so i have got ACPIPS on a disk (wich has snowleopard on it) and when i boot it it starts up but then my laptop restarts. i updated the bios to the latest and still did the same problem.

ok if this is a previous windows laptop, th HDD isnt formated to the MAC formate wich is i think fat 32 and windows is something else, all im saying is that the HDD isnt in the right format

are u sure because i dont think that has anything to do with it restarting. its reading off a disk. it should atleast boot. the apple logo comes up then restarts
