I have both and the dazzle is just crap, I love the HD PVR
Dazzle pros and cons:
Pros:
Records
Small

Cons:
Hard to work with
Bad quality
Lots of equipment needed not supplied
ECT

HD PVR:
pros:
Records in 720p and 1080i
Comes with everything
Easy to work with
ECT

Cons:
I have had no problems

I would go with the HD PVR.
I used to have a Dazzle, but the quality was not worth it.
When I bought my PVR it was like heaven.
I recommend the HD PVR over the dazzle because of the quality.
The prices are a big difference but quality is money.
