Hey my PVR just started doing this ...
This only happens when I turn on my Xbox. I have the correct setup, and I have updated the drivers, software, and restarted my computer. I don't know what else to do..
I get an error message: The device in use has been disconnected. Please check the connection or select another device [repost] I am having this same problem and need some help im thinking i might have to send it back but im looking for all available options before i do that

Check your USB cable is both plugged in and showing no signs of visible damage.
Try disabling preview on Total media extreme - that worked for me.
