hey dmack, how do infections work? Do they last forever, or only a short time?

I was wondering if this is possible:

  • mod lightweight pro, so it has the effects of danger close, but instead of 1.4x explosives damage its 5x or something ridiculous.
  • mod sitrep to have modded melee range


The reason I say lightweight/sitrep: If you use say danger close / commando, wouldn't everybody in the lobby have them? Or just you? If just you, modifying danger close / commando would be the way to go.

I don't plan on buying the next mappack, since IW still has to fix things they seem to think aren't broken (look at this forum for an example, lol). I would use that $15 to pay for mods. Half for fun, half out of spite, haha.

Infections last until you go back to the mw2 main menu, or dash, or turn off console... you have certain infections all the time, and if you get host you activate more... but both teams will have them..
