Ever figure out the issue? If not maybe we will try Neil or Swifteh again. It just doesnt make sense since the jasper worked with the casing off but not is bricked

IF YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE AND CAN'T HELP HIM DON'T POST AT ALL

My Jtag has done this to me a few times... xenon aswell.

I take it you can't even boot into xellous?

I booted mine by putting a wired controller into the back USB port and holding down (Y) or the BACK button on the controller.

If not it could be the connector where you plug in your Power brick into your xbox.. but i doubt it if its happening to 2 different motherboards :/ are you completely sure its not the power bricks?

Also simply try putting your plug into a different socket

Ya, can't boot to xellous, literally not getting any type of power to the board. I'm at work now, but when I get home this evening, I'm going to try to remove the LED board, and attempt to boot using a wired controller in the back. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna have to pull out my meter and learn how to trace MOSFETs. I'm really hoping I'm not going to have to reflow the whole thing, that doesn't look fun.

The powerbrick is showing a yellow LED, which I've been told is standby, so I can short out the connections on the mobo to force the brick to power on, but that might be risky.

Ugh, I hate Murphy and his stupid law.

It could be that the wire from brick to box is broken

well could could first test the wall port, second reset your circuit breaker. truthfully i can think of why either one wont turn on.

I'm giving up for now. I have a falcon I'm about to work on, and I'm just going to be VERY VERY careful with all the soldering. (Not that I wasn't with the last two)

I read some about reflowing, but I'm not quite willing to try that quite yet, not to mention I don't have the equipment to do so.

:'( Not a good day.
