Hello and welcome to my Ultimate TTG Guide - for "noobs" and new users.
To start off: - Welcome to The Tech Game!
Now, as soon as you become a member of TTG (The Tech Game) your better off going to the Introduce Yourself Section which is located by clicking "Forums" and then scroll down to "General and Off Topic Discussion" and then onto "Introduce Yourself".

In this Topic - you want to tell everybody your Name, Hobbies/Interests, Console (GT/PSN) and a little bit about yourself. Now people have recognized you, and know what your about, you can now start posting on TTG and helping out the community!
Now, it will be a good idea if you look at the TTG Rules and Regulations, because if you don't abide by these rules, then you will get banned/suspended - which you really do not want to do.
These can be found by clicking on "Forums" then scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page, until you see "Thetechgame.com Related Discussion." and then click on "Forum Rules."
Note that this section of the forums is extremely useful if you want to ask the TTG Staff a question - and you can do this by repeating the steps above, but by cliking on "Ask the Staff".

Now; once you have completed the steps above, you can now start to involve yourself with the discussions and topics which are all over TTG.
TTG have a wide range of topics, from Consoles, Games, Sports, and even a Conspiracy Board! And all these can be viewed by clicking "Forums" at the top and then scrolling down and clicking on what topic is relevant to your interests etc.
When posting, please remember a few tips which I think is important.
1. Only post a topic in the relevant section, for example you don't want to be posting a topic on.. let's say "Soccer" in the "Modern Warefare 2 - Clan Talk" thread, because it is completely off topic, however - if you do make this mistake, it is more than likely your topic will be moved to the relevant section by one of the TTG Staff.
2. Be polite, friendly and encouraging to other users, as they are here to help you! Be nice otherwise members will be reluctant to help you in the future!
3. Do not post pointless replies which just gains you "Number of Posts" because members will recognize this.
If you think a members Thread/Post/Reply is helpful to you, or is just generally good, you may want to "Thank the Topic" by clicking on the "Thanks" button which is at the bottom of the first Post of that Thread. This shows members that their post was helpful and will encourage them to do so in the future.

You also may want to add to their Reputation Score - which is a system that shows your reputation within the community - for example a person with negative (-) reputation means that they are not helpful, are a "Scammer" or just post pointless and irrelevant and rude posts/replies which does not help members in anyway. However a person with positive (+) reputation means they are liked throughout the community and people recognize their hard work. A member with higher reputation points means that more people recognize them and their hard work.
You can add to people's reputation score by clicking the Green Flag at the bottom right of their post. This then brings a window up which you are required to pick if you "Agree with the Post" or "Disagree with the Post". Obviously if you agree it has a positive effect on the members rep' whereas disagreeing has a negative effect. You can then allocate how many "Reputation Points" you think the member deserves, in the form of a drop down menu. You can also leave a comment for the member, then you click "Add to reputation" to complete this process.

Now you are starting to become a more established member of the community - you can make yourself recognised by doing some of the following things;
Offer free services: Like GFX (Graphics), Helpful services such as verifying someone's PayPal account, or hosting competitions and even Gifting Gold.
Post helpful topics on a certain topic, like I am doing now - to help you on TTG.
People will soon recognize this, and you will start to become a popular member of the community.
Now, if you want to enhance your experience on TTG - you might want to become a Gold Premium Member, which costs you $5.97 a month (US) - (About 3.70 for UK) which is extremely cheap and worth it considering the extra facilities you gain.
You can do this by clicking "Premium" button which is located on the navigational bar at the top of the webpage.

Please contact me if you need any help at all - and feel free to PM any member for help, as I am sure they are willing to help you!
+Rep and Thanking the topic will be greatly appreciated as this topic took some time to make - and also if I have missed anything out or have said something inaccurate or you think some improvements can be made please feel free to post as I will listen to every comment!
I apoligise in advance if a topic like this has already been posted, I just feel that there are to many posts involving simple things in which new members do not now about.
Thank-you for reading!

I wouldn't say its that helpful as its just plain and there is no eye catching parts.
If you want this to be good then i would recommend adding some picture tuts and colours.
