RADICAL plans to ban internet porn from millions of homes were backed by ministers yesterday.
Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt has warned internet service providers to act - or face tough new laws to tackle the problem.

Under the scheme to protect children from extreme images, hardcore sites would be automatically banned from ALL UK homes.
Anyone who wanted to access them would have to "opt in" - but first prove they are over 18.
Mr Hunt said: "If internet service providers do not bring forward measures that will deal with this issue fast, we will legislate and regulate."
Tory MP Claire Perry, who championed the scheme, said: "It's time to do something about it."
She said half of British kids use the internet alone - but only three per cent of porn sites require proof of age.
Sheila Eaton, of the National Council of Women, backed the scheme.
She said: "Children as young as eight are accessing porn. Something needs to be done now."
Safermedia said 46 per cent of parents use no internet filters at home.
