Soo everytime i turn on my computer about 599,960 things pop up about viruses..
Andd everytime i try and open anything on my comp, it pulls up a message sayin it a keylogger
For Example i try and ope Team Viewer and i get a message saying "Teamviewer.exe is infected with Trojan-BNK.Win32.Keylogger.gen"
Then it says "Yes, activate Win 7 Antivirus 2012 (Recommened)
No, Continue unprotected (Dangerous)"
When i go to yes it tells me to pay 80.00$
And when i click no it shuts the app down :/
It is a Compaq laptop i got for this Christmas so its pretty new
Soo if you can help please contact me through PM or Aim: TTGKhalifaa

well it would seem that you have contracted a virus binded with the teamviewer application. did you download it from teamviewer.co m? or did you download it from somewhere else?
does a message pop up on your screen that says it is a keylogger? if so it is highly possible that you are infected with a rat. Best thing to do if you really want to get rid of it all completely, is get a new HDD. of course you can try and remove it, but if the guy who installed the virus is any good, you wont be able to remove it on the first go. to protect yourself, get a new HDD, calling up compaq and saying it got a virus, is the best way to go i guess, but you can always buy one at best buy.
i will message you on aim to see if i can help.

.. no scruffy i think your wrong (although i only read your first sentence). The teamviewer application itsself probably isnt faulty but the virus is acting as your antivirus software. so if you try to open something, it will tell you it's unable to open (or whatever) because of a fake virus. the real virus is the "antivirus software". download combofix ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) from another computer and put it on a USB drive. then plug it into your infected computer and run it. let it run fully and it should help. if not i suggest you wipe the HD and install a new copy of Windows. You say it's new. You most likely are currently under warranty so i suggest you call your warranty provider and explain your problem. Hope I helped
Edit: The virus you have sounds like something I had once so I hope you'll try what i said.
Good Luck

My friend had the same virus. It's just a thing that wants you to buy a fake software from a fake website. Try to delete somehow. Oh and when you try to open up something like teamviewer just right click and put "Run as administrator" so that you would not get the virus message

change your date to seven days ahead of today, if you cant do it normally do it in safe mode. hope itll help. its a prone virus it attacks only on designated times. if you know what registry errors and the exact program location (windows 7 antivirus 2012) delete it if not just look it up. you probably downloaded it on accident, it happens to alot of people.

i see what you mean, im just now talking to him on aim, and i assumed that when he said "somethine pops up that says im keylogged" i thought it would be an error message like you see on remote admin tools, so i thought it could be a rat, but he says that his AV just says it, and he isnt on XP, so he cant have this --> XP Internet Security 2010 is a rogue security program that reports false threats and displays fake security alerts to make you think that your computer is infected.
but anyway, your av might be picking up false positives... he said he will record a video, so we will see soon enough
