There was a programme about Area-51 on the Discovery Channel the other day and it really got me interested.
The people who worked there 50-60 years ago were on there. They some of the story's and use de-classified footage.
Area 51 was built to keep the U-2 (First ever american spy plane) secret.
It was later used to keep the SR-71 Blackbrid.
There was nothing to do with aliens.
Since then things MIGHT have changed, but I think it is more than likely something to test out new millitary aircraft as it has been for the past century.
Even the people who used to work there have heared that Area-51 could be a cover for another even bigger "secret"
So as far as most people know it is a Secret Air Base for new Top Secret Aircraft.
Feel free to post here on what you think Area-51 is and what it's hiding.

im sure the hiding secret aircrafts is just a cover up for all the aliens lol, but we will never know whats truthfully hidden in there

lol area-51 is used to hold u2(the irish top 40 band) from saveing the world and cureing cancer, world hunger, world poverty.
ther reason they are holding u2 is because if they solved all the worlds problems wut would america do for fun
