Why wouldn't it? So long as it has the right inputs and you have the cables or adapters, it will work. It is just a monitor, after all.

I don't thinks so. Usually apple only makes there products only be able to be used with other apple products. thats the way they do business

^^^ Not with monitors. The current ones use Mini Displayport, which is also included on some modern graphics cards. You can get an adapter to make it work with DVI-D and DVI-I, VGA, HDMI, Displayport (Not mini), and everything else, really.
The features are really limited on the Apple monitors, though. Get a Dell Ultrasharp equivalent if you want the IPS tech and the ultra-high resolution. They actually use the same exact screen, which is made by LG.
