Next time try using different font w/ dif color, also the BG isn't great it could be better tho.

You can use the quick selection tool i believe, go around all the ltters and then move them and get rid of any white thats left.

I know this is your first attempt but it's not good. You should've rendered the optic gaming logo and the evil controllers logo. I don't like the text either, try doing something more simple.
