I understand this just kinds stupid on some of the things they did. If they are for looks, then they made a good job of faking some people out.

they do look younger in this than they do in ascension.....so maybe they were on this map before they went to ascension

Will post something here or tell you on the xbox but I thought the samething cause hes wearing the space suit in ascension and I was thinkimg he was gonna go to space.

Maybe the rod was for the ascension easter egg but on the way to the shuttle he lost the rod and thats why the ascension easter egg isn't complete.
