Not everyone uses dashlaunch.

Everyone has Family Settings.

I.E. Family settings is the best thing to post,as anyone can do it.

Very insightful. I did notice that you said the Xenon has an overheating problem. Is it still worth it to JTAG? Also I'm still looking for my old power brick so I haven't been able to check the dashboard update but would an xbox that hasn't been used in 2 and half years be JTAGable? I stopped using it around the time Gears of War 2 came out because the xbox started scratching my discs.

not really... if you don't use dashlaunch then you are missing out on a lot for your jtag lol. You can boot into any xex(obvious), but there are many more thing. Such as spoofs the region on boot. There are numerous plugins, ie, memedit.xex that allows many things to be possible. You also can also patch the kernal and xam on boot, which allows for unlimited distance system linknig amont other things. ALso it allows you to block all update and ignores the what kernal the game was for(eg. gams that need to be on the 12625 kernal can be played on 9199. There are many more features... if anything you should include a dashlaunch sectiion.

Edit: I also forgot another thing. It enables rte, and it unlocks dlc on boot.

You failed in 3 places there;

1) None of that has any relevence to what we were talking about. (Family settings)

2) "not reallly",yes really, not all Jtag owners use dashlaunch. Whether they should or not,has nothing to do with it.

3) You don't seem to know that freeboot spoofs the region of your console already,XM360 unlocks DLC,to by-pass updating to play games you can just delete the system update folder,so the only thing it uniquly does is boot into any dash and patch the ping..not exactly a reason for everyone to use it.

And again, none of what you said after "not really" had any relevence to what we were discussing.

As to adding a whole section for dashlaunch,no.

In the future I may add it,and a few other programs under a new section,or "Tutorials" though.

1. I'm saying use dashlaunch instead of family settings

2. people should use dashlaunch

Here are three places where you failed lol

3a. Freeboot doesn't spoof region lol. Look at your freeboot nand image in flash tool. lol

3b. Why would you use XM360, when it can patch the dlc on launch

3c.lollolol. When the xex needs a certain kernal, deleting the system update will do nothing. You either have to patch the xex, or use dashluanch yay.

Fine you can use family settings... and i will have fun with dashlaunch lol

I'm going to finish with this discussion with this comment lol

People shouldn't have to use it as you said,it's not necessarily at all,it has a few benefits but it's not for everyone.

Last time I checked, freeboot makes your Jtag run region free.

You would use XM360 because not everyone uses dashlaunch....

I forgot to add the part about the xex..I also forgot to mention how dog easy it is to patch an xex to work without the systemupdate folder,so not exactly a fail.

Further discussion of this is pointless, has no real benefit to anyone, but your post count.

1. Freeboot never made it run region free lol. That would be for piracy. Team freeboot would not be for piracy.

2.Not everyone uses XM360... that is hypocritical lol

3.It really isn't as easy as installing a program once.

lol i could care less about post count. I just go on this site to correct people

Not all consoles on 7379 can be Jtagged can be Jtagged without bricking the console, some can be,some cannot, simple as that.

I am not sure how to distinguish between an exploitable one and an non-exploitable one,or if there is even a way,so don't ask me.

you can check by opening the nand in degraded and checking the cb version

Also you can also change the fan speeds in the nand. It is a little bit faster than FSD, from what i have seen and heard lol
