DISCLAIMER
This tutorial is to be used with games that you personally own. I do not encourage piracy, nor do I think its fair to be banned for playing a copy of a game you purchased with hard earned cash. Using this tutorial does not guarantee you will not be banned, but dramatically raises your chances of staying live capable.

I have noticed that there are not to many tutorials to be found on how to use this program. In most cases it is self explanatory, but if you are new to backing up xbox 360 games this can be a somewhat complicated task. It is important to have your games properly stealth patched to avoid getting your valuable console banned from connecting to xbox live services.

So lets begin...

Items required:

- An xbox 360 on the latest dash or dash 2.0.13599.-July 19, 2011
- An xbox 360 with a modified Disc drive flahed to the most recent LT/LT+ 1.91 firmware.
- A PC or Laptop with a Dual layer DVD burner & 8Gb's of free hard drive space
- Blank DVD+R DL Verbatim or Memorex are highly recommended.

Go to abgx360.net and download the program or click the link below:

This is the ABGX GUI "Graphical user interface" It is a simple program and all the settings are saved and do not need to be set again.

AP25/26 Currently DOES NOT apply to all versions of Hitachi, except 78 and 79!!!

Important note that bears repeating about iXtreme LT+ v1.91 (and this probably applies to any subsequent firmware as long as additional random AP25 challenges [nicknamed "AP26"] are being used):

"Due to the new AP26 random challenges the safety freeze for unknown or bad AP25 data is no longer supported. Please ensure your AP25 data is correct for the dashboard version you are using."

This means that (for consoles which do AP25 checks [see the AP25 FAQ for info] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ):

AP25 backups (see the list of AP25 games) that are not patched with AP25 replay data will fail the normal AP25 challenges outright. (The normal AP25 challenges from the DAE table are still being performed along with the new random "AP26" challenges.)
AP25 backups that are patched with old/incomplete/bogus AP25 replay data will fail the normal AP25 challenges outright.
AP25 backups that are patched with current AP25 replay data will fail the normal AP25 challenges outright when the DAE table is updated again. So far the DAE table has only been updated through system (dashboard) updates but it could possibly be updated by other means.
Any of these failures will probably flag your console for a ban in the next banwave. As always you should be very wary of system updates and carefully follow the news here as well as on thetechgame.org and xbox-scene.com.

Look to see if you have correctly patched it, if so you should have all green text! make sure that your image is patched the same as the one in the picture below. The part in the orange box only applies to ap2.5 games. This is a list of games that are ap2.5: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Step three:

Burn your game

You will be left with a 7.2Gb iso file and a small dvd file. Put both of the files into a folder and burn the dvd file with your favourite burning software at 2.4x or 4x write speed. If your not sure how to tell the iso and the dvd files apart, right click one of the two files and click properties, it will give you the file type and size.

Enjoy your Game...

Quick question. When I'm patching the ISO file, which one is the ISO file, the SS or the DMI? Or do I have to find the actual game to download from piratebay or something? If so what's the best place to download them from?

The SS and DMI combo are the SSV2 Patch files to stealth your game. The ISO is a different larger file 7.2gb in size. The game image file should be acquired from an original disc but I cannot tell you what to do.

Quick question. If I run the program and the after the first launch everything is green, do I need to launch it again? And if I do launch it again I use the same settings, correct? And where will the DVD and ISO files be after patching?

You exit the program and re open it. You then run the game through abgx again without changing any settings. The dvd and iso file will be in the exact same location where they were when you opened them. I recommend putting it in a file on your desktop before running the program but it doesn't really matter.
