Everyday on TTG i always come across a topic that says something like, o this kid is a scammer or i just got scammed or something in the lines of scamming so i am going to make a quick topic on how to protect yourself from being scammed

Scammers
Scammers are a big problem in the online marketing system, everywhere you go any site you go on there will be a variety of scammers. Scammers always find the fastest and the easiest ways to get someone to pay for something. The way scammers are able to get the money they're after is by pushing the seller to pay but there are occasions where the scammer can push the seller to far and they won't get the money that they are looking for.

Different Ways To Notice a Scammer
There are a variety of ways that you can tell that someone is a scammer. The first way is if the person is trying to push you to pay and says something like "Please hurry and pay i want to hurry up and start this lobby for everyone." or if you say that you can't pay right now but you will pay later, if they say "Dude i need the money right now please just go and get the money now so i can host/send you the product so i can get it off my hands." Every scammer has a way on verifying if they are legit or not, and if the person is pushy and is basically begging for you to pay them, then 9 times out of 10 they're a scammer.

Questions You Can Ask
There are multiple questions you can ask a scammer. If they say they are hosting and it costs anything most people say to ask them "What type of jtag do you have?" but that wont help instead you need to ask "What type of KV do you have?" or "What patch are you running?" most scammers don't have a clue on how to create patches or code at all. If the person is selling products such as jtags, then first you need to go talk to the community and see if they have sold to anyone before. You will be amazed on what the community has to say about something like this. There are some people that will trade accounts like xbl account or so on. For those type of scammers if they're trading or selling their xbl account then you need to ask "Whats the gamertag of the account?" or "Please invite me to a party on xbl so i can see that the account is real?" If they deny to tell you the gamertag or they deny anything about this then they're 100% non legit.

Legit/Scammer
If the person is hosting and they have told you everything that they're using and it's all legit then most likely the person is indeed legit. But if they say something that sounds totally out of wack then i believe you know what to do REPORT them.

Report
Now once you have verified that the person is a scammer, then you must hit that little red flag that is at the bottom right of their post. Once you have reported them then they're going to be facing the Moderators and the Administrators of the website. Once they're reported you should feel better about yourself because you have helped the community by reporting another scammer on the website.

Well I hope this helped everyone on TTG. Just remember what ive told you, if you think they're scamming then verify and report.
