Mini-modding is different from telling someone the rules. If someone's post involves breaking a rule, then you should let them know, and inform them of the rules.
mini-modding includes, pm'ing a mod or an admin and telling them to close a topic, posting "close please" on the topic, or act like a mod.

Completely wrong - if a post is 'wrong' or prohibited - report it
Mini-modding is either asking a Staff member to close a post on the forums - or coming across as staff yourself by stating the post/topic is rulebreaking in some way..
Again - Report the post - don't get involved
