2008 thats not old at all. Espially (how ever you spell that lol) for a honda. I had an 04 honda XR50 never had to do anything on it and it ran like a charm and still did till i sold it and then it was even good. This might be a little different as its a racing bike but not much. Its 4 stroke they dont break very easy unless you dont maintain it
