i want to send my xbox 2 get jtagged but what dashboared do i need the new 1 or the 1 before that pls help will rep

It has to be 7371 or lower.

yes i know but which dashboared like the new 1 or the old 1 coz i havent downloaded the new 1 yet coz i dont want to incase it isnt the right 1

Bring the older one i would assume. To find out if your box is Jtagable then go to My Xbox> System Settings> System Info, then look at the last 4 digits to see if it is 7371 or Lower. If it is your in luck.

the dashboard/kernel version MUST be 2.0.7371.0 or lower, anything higher and you cannot JTAG. And even if you have that version there is still a possibility you cant JTAG it. You'll have to dump the NAND and check the CB version to be sure.

some xboxs at 7371 work but not all , be safer for 7363 or lower
