Ok well i need to put 6 of these leds in my xbox.

Im taking the power source from the 12v dvd cable. I need to know what type of resistor i need. I was thinking 220ohm 1/8 watt resistor. But i need to be sure, so if someone could help me i will +rep a lot. thanks guys
Also i cant use those pre done led strips because they dont have purple in that color and i need purple or else it will mess up my custom xbox design

That means that 2v will go to each led to power it. Use this if u haven't already
