if you ordered it online it will be posted ready for the release day but there are postal strikes, and if you ordered it in store they send you a text when you can pick it up!

Well I know Amazon is sending pre-orders out this week if you're in UK,due to postal strikes.I would imagine Game would do the same.

Thankl you, you reminded me I still have to pre-order it. Does Gamestop stop allowing pre-orders a certain number of days from release? My friend said they wouldn't let him preorder GoW2 like the weekend before it was released. Just want to try and get in the pre-order, do you receive anything from pre-ordering it? Or just you get a gurantee'd copy of it the day it comes out?

I have ordered many things from Play.com and they have never let me down, you should get it on the day of the release mate.

I've invited a couple of mates around for November the 9th.
My dads going to asda for me at midnight to pick up the game then he is dropping it off at my house near midnight (I don't live with my dad).
Me and a couple of mates are staying on it all night, campaign first then I dunno what i'm doing after that.
I have college in the morning, have to be there for 9 and do an 8 hour day, I really don't care though.
