Help with this program please

Ok, so I am a noob at this so if someone would please help out I would be very thankful....
I save game file on USB flash drive (RDR2SAVE0.SAV) and extract to dektop using USB Xtaf Xplorer .006
mod the .sav file with this program and save(I am assuming that it saves over the original .SAV file on desktop as I cannot find an alternative .SAV file anywhere else on my comp)
Using Xtaf Xplorer .006 I then injected the .SAV files back to USB
I then load the game on the Xbox and.... nothing has changed, could somebody please explain to me what I am doing wrong, I thought I was following instructions correctly but apparently not
