I would start off with a Dazzle, some people say they're bad, but i have one, and it gets the job done for a decent price.

Get a PVR, expensive but the quality is awesome

Roxio are better and the same amount of money as a dazzle. But if you really want a dazzle, I would suggest a Dazzle Platinum, quite good quality as I have one.
