Also, one experience should not be enough to "hate" a company. I have had issues with PS3s, but by no means do I hate Sony. Xboxes get the RROD just like the PS3 gets the YLOD (just far more often). If you had a laptop fail, why assume that if you bought one from Dell that it would not fail too? And maybe it wasn't even the fault of the manufacturer! I hate Apple because I have countless reasons to do so. These include widespread failures, dishonest use of the law against competition, enforcing heavy DRM, maiming the music industry, overpricing rubbish hardware, etc. I could go on.

Look I'm not a fanboy i understand that the Toshiba thrive has pots such as the full size HDMI and a full size USB 2.0 i like other tablets just that the Toshiba thrive is a bit useless to me.
I don't even have an asus transformer but i check xda-developers every day to see whats new i also check Engadget. I just don't like Toshiba is there a problem with that i rather buy a different product than a Toshiba product...

I got the Inc free on contract and have a 150 MB data plan. I looked extensively at the Nook Color since one was available for cheap on Craigslist, but I did not have the money. I also considered saving up for a Transformer or another Honeycomb tablet, but I am waiting for Kal-El.

I didn't say honeycomb tablets were useless i said the Toshiba thrive is useless for me maybe for someone it may be use full i just don't like it its an opinion and i am going to stick to it i am officially done with this have a good day or night to you and what is you xda name i will add you^_^ i really don't have 3 phones one captivate my brother practicly stole it^_^
But yea i find my self using the nook allot more than the other captivate also you should get a nook color its worth it and the developer who ported cm7 to it said he might get ice cream sandwich on it when it comes out. i definitely recommend it its worth it.

What I am trying to say is that all the Honeycomb Tablets out there have virtually the same features! Different I/O, data services, proprietary connectors, and a few more things are the only differentiators. Essentially, if you call one useless, you call them all useless. If any of them is in a way less useful, it would be the Galaxy Tab 10.1 because of its lacking I/O. It makes up for it in looks, though. ppr(

I just lurk on XDA since I am on so many other things like OCN, Head-Fi, Reddit, TTG, Engadget, Lifehacker, and Gizmodo a lot.

The only reason I was hesitant with the Nook is that I need better hardware. I know it's a great deal, but I enjoyed using the Acer Iconia Tab and the Xoom at Staples way too much. It may be just a toy in some ways, but I think a tablet (especially like the new Archos ones with mechanical hard drives) could fill in a lot of tech gaps I have. And Honeycomb as it is is just so beautiful...
