Is this normal? I mean I had a Flamethrower and a Ray Gun, and I was in the glitch. It was perfectly working fine but one zombie managed to get so far forward on the left side of me he killed me. I did the glitch again and again but one zombie kept managing to get me.

ARGHHHH!!!

This happened to anyone else or is it normal?

The problem with the Double Tap Machine Glitch is that in order to work perfectly there needs to be two people in it, one on either side of the machine. If only one person is in it, the most popular being the left hand side (as you look at the machine) the zombies that pass you from left to right in front of you will sometimes get close enough to hit you. Only way to solve that problem is to be in the "Sweet Spot" of the glitch. The next problem is that it is such a confined space that eventually the area gets so crowded that the zombies will start to "Teleport" around and can get close enough to hit you if you are not killing them.

The glitch works for me. It doesnt do that but if im the only one in it and i dont kill them then they will manage to crowd up and get close enough to hit me.
