Game right now? Call of duty franchise.

Halo 2 will always be the best game that was on xbox and xbox 360, and now pc.

Halo 3 went a bit down hill, Halo Reach killed the series itself. They're looking to make a comeback with H4 and Anniversary.

CoD has been the same in every game.

I suggest you go with Call of Duty until Halo 4, then read reviews and try H4 out.

They both have their own downfalls, But more people purchase a new CoD then a new Halo. Maybe that will change once Halo 4 and MW3 are released. But anyway in my opinion I like the Call of Duty series better, The reason is the ranking is more fun to get. Halo's rank sytem didn't work for me. But in the halo series I loved Halo 3's forge mode, Halo Reach's guns, but Halo Reach's forge mode was butt.
