The Us will obviously be involved in a massive war within 20 yr , and unless your 40 years old right now you will be drafted , no doubt about it. So enjoy your little xbox and computer because soon you will be stationed in china or russia or some country , wishing you had really lived your teenage years. All i know is as soon as i start seeing signs of war , im packing up and moving to canada. You guys that want to join the military to kill people and because its "awsome", remember those words when you are actually there.

thumbs Up?

gtfo u have no idea what u are talking about. first of all u r coming off as a real p u s s y and the US will always be at war and draft people. most people dont know what is like to shoot a gun and kill someone espcially a human and most never will. and u are spamming this topic and have no idea what u r talking about. let rednecks do the shooting and let the p u s s i e s like u design the guns they use

Haha wow, looks like 45% are joining? but sounds more like 5% are actually planning on joining
just letting you older guys out there (im 17 so who ever is older then me) i would recommend if your really thinking of joining i would sign up now, best is before you graduate because if you do sign up late it will actually be alot harder of what job you might want once you do get in, like me i actually have already signed up for the Army, and already ranked up a E-4, by doing ROTC during high school and doing after school/summer training. The bad part for me right now is im not getting paid until i am actually set off into a station. Now people like are in the 14-16 age range, if you ever thought of joining or anything, you better start thinking ahead, i know its sort of a life decision but still you can sign up for 3 years or more, whatever you want.

To me i think its definitely a good choice you guys, i mean i read some comments saying "Nah, i like to stay alive" or "i rather not get shot" to be honest only 35% go into combat, (this could mean you go into warfare a gun or stay back and fly, etc)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ok thats only Army as i know... i don't know an accurate amount on Marines or Air force. Well Navy... i hate Navy to be honest im really sorry for people out there that are in the navy but of well

But seriously i had meetings to Army, Marines, and Air force, not Navy and ive seen the pay on all groups. i dont know the money pay off of my head all i know what im going to get that about it =P but i know that 1-4
1. Air force
2.Army
3.Marines
4.Navy

^^^^
that right there shows what groups you might be making more in, and what i mean by is that all groups mostly get payed the same, and you get payed by rank, and i noticed Navy and Marines is really difficult to rank up, Air force is a piece of cake ranking up, so theres E-1, E-2, E-3, etc.. i believe E-6 is a Sargent, anyways the higher you are more you get payed.

SIDE NOTE
is that if you want to be in the battle zone if you want to call it that, you actually get payed double the amount you should be gettin because you have a more of a risk, also while getting payed over where ever you go you will not be Taxed because you are not longer in the United States... or where ever you live i dont think it matters..

ANOTHER SIDE NOTE
If you do join and do a 3 year service to any group you will get 36 months of free schooling, which is they will pay for you own schooling...

ALL OF THIS
is saying, think about joining, you will actually have a great future ahead of you, unless you can harvest dollar tress or weed and be a billion or a doctor.. haha fine by me

also i know ALOT of this seems not very detailed but i dont want to write anymore then it already is, sorry if it already too long but i want to get to the point...

EDIT:
I was told that Air force is not a piece of cake of ranking up, BUT i know a fact you do get payed quite a bit

great job on the ranking up. and air force isnt that easy to rank up. my dad was in the airforce for 20+ years and left as an E6/Tech Sergeant.
