Campaign:
Modern Warfare 3 opens as Modern Warfare 2 closed: The United States under siege by Russian forces, ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov on the loose, Captain John Soap MacTavish and Captain John Price wounded and on the run with the Russian informant known as Nikolai.
Fleeing to a safehouse in Dharmasala, India, the three are attacked by Makarovs men. In this firefight players take on the role of Yuri, a loyalist who works for Nikolai. Their safehouse compromised, the group flee the area in a helicopter.
The game then cuts to Manhattan where Russia is launching an attack on the city from a fleet of ships parked in the Hudson River. (It appears the famous U.S.S. Intrepid may be destroyed.) The U.S. calls in Delta Force to repel the attack. You take on the role of Frost, a Delta Force operative under the command of Sandman. Your goal is to take out a jamming tower on top of the New York Stock Exchange to open the area for a U.S. counterattack.
Following the mission, Delta flies out of the city on a Blackhawk, gunning down enemy choppers as they make their way to the harbor where they have to infiltrate and take down a Russian sub which is coordinating the attack.
The Campaign Settings of MW3
Dharmasala, India
New York, New York
A plane transporting the president of Russia
A town in Sierra Leone
London, England
Mogadishu, Somalia
Hamburg, Germany
Paris, France
Prague, Czech Republic
A castle in the Czech mountains
Berlin, Germany
The Kremlin in Moscow, Russia
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Washington. D.C.
As the New York missions wrap up the game jumps forward in time half a year, thrusting players into the role of a Russian agent tasked with protecting the president of Russia as he flies to sign a peace treaty with the U.S. The plane is attacked by hijackers mid-air who attempt to kidnap the president and his daughter. The daughter manages to escape. The president of Russia in hand, Makarov vows to prevent a peace treaty by getting the launch codes out of the president and launching an attack against the U.S.
The game then returns us to Price, Soap and Yuri, now in Africa in a search for Makarov. They meet with a local South African arms dealer who tells them about a shipment of chemical weapons that Makarov is trying to buy. The group make their way to Sierra Leone to secure the weapons from African militia.
Next, players take on the role of an SAS operative who is tasked with stopping a delivery of weapons of mass destruction at a London dockyard. A gun battle ensues, and the agents are chased through the London subway. The mission culminates with a series of unmarked trucks exploding in front of the house of Parliament, releasing a deadly chemical agent.

Several other European cities and military bases are hit by similar terrorist attacks backed by Russia, and the death toll rises to the tens of thousands. The series of chemical attacks opens the door for a Russian military blitz strikes across the continent.
Price discovers that the South African arms dealer who tipped them off about the chemical weapons deceived them and travels to Somalia to find the man and interrogate him. Through the arms dealer, Price discovers that Makarovs right hand man, Volk, is hiding out in Paris.
The games attention next shifts to Hamburg, Germany where players take on the role of a U.S. tank gunner fighting to push back a Russian advance backed by armored divisions.
After capturing and interrogating Volk, Frost learns that Makarov has a meeting in a Prague hotel. Players control Yuri as he and Soap slip into the Russian-controlled city and set-up an ambush for Makarov in a church bell tower. Makarov somehow catches wind of the trap and escapes. Soap, Yuri and Price then have to fight their way out of the city.
Yuri leads the team to one of Makarovs headquarters in the Czech mountains and the group infiltrates the location, looking for clues. They discover that the ultranationlist has the president and is trying to get the codes out of him. Makarov has also discovered the location of the Russian presidents daughter. The group move out to Berlin to try and prevent her kidnapping. Playing as Frost, gamers must find the daughter and protect her, while making their way through war-torn Berlin. The daughter, however, is captured and flown away.
Frost next makes his way to the Kremlin where a task force of operatives attack and free the hostages, but Makarov manages to escape again.
The games final mission occurs in Dubai, where Yuri, Price and Sandman launch an assault on a heavily guarded hotel, eventually finding Makarov and, yes, finally killing him.
It also appears that the game may also include a post-credits level that features the burning of Washington, D. C.
The stage seems set for a passing of the torch: from player-controlled members of Task Force 141 to the new characters from Delta Force.

Zombies?
As of right now, it looks like that there will be no zombies in MW3, as Treyarch designed the game of zombies they have not participated in the making of MW3. MW3 will be like all modern CoD's--No zombies, compared to the old fashion CoD's like WaW or CoD BO.

Premium Features:
To play online on MW3 will be free. There is supposed to be a premium service (Not 3LIT3, that was said to be free as well) but there is supposed to be an area to pay for more gametyped and things.

Camping?!
From recent posts it look like it will be like CoD 4, with the fastest moving games. If you have played Modern Warfare, and paid attention you would realize there isn't that much camping. This is how MW3 is meant to be, pretty much in multiplayer the next CoD 4--BUT! These are just rumors.

Yes, there is rumored to be camos. Here's a rumored list of what the names may be...

PERKS!!!! <3 <3 <3
Blind Eye - Or, you can call it the anti-killstreak perk, because this perk makes you invulnerable to killstreaks from other players. That means you wont get attacked by their choppers, etc. You will, however, still show up on UAV and the like. If you upgrade it to the pro version youre not only protected from killstreaks, but you get the ability to help take them down more quickly. Your rockets will lock on faster and your gunshots will do extra damage to vehicles. Youll become an anti-killstreak machine.
--
Assassin This fills in the other half for Blind Eye. Where Blind Eye protects you from things like choppers and chopper gunners, Assassin makes you invisible to things like UAV. In addition, you wont show up on thermal sensors or heartbeat sensors. Youre an assassin, invisible to all but the naked eye. The pro version, as youd expect, takes this even further. Upgrade to it and youll become invulnerable to CUAV and EMP and, perhaps even more importantly, when enemies see you your name will not show up and your enemys crosshairs will not turn red, leaving you free to sneak around in plain site..
--
Point Guard Frustrated that youre always racking up tons of assists but are never quite able to finish your opponent off and get your hands on those cool killstreaks? The aptly named Point Guard is here to help. With Point Guard, youll get credit for a kill towards your killstreak bonuses every time you get two assists. It wont show up on the scoreboard as a kill, but it will count towards your acquisition of killstreaks. So if you get 6 assists without dying, you get a UAV. Or if you get 2 assists and 2 kills youll get the same.
--
Dead Silence While Assassin makes you invisible visually, you still make noise. Enter Dead Silence, which takes care of that. You make no noise, not your footprints, reloading, etc. While Assassin makes you unseen, Dead Silence makes you unheard.
--
Recon - Details are still hush on this one, but it appears it will give you a more advanced radar than you have naturally. Perhaps it will work to counter perks like Assassin that would typically make an enemy invisible to radar.
--
Name: Specialist
Feature I: The main feature to this Perk allows you to move faster similarly to Lightweight from previous games. Not much else to say about this.
Feature II: The second feature to Specialist allows you to run for a longer duration much like Marathon from previous games. Again, not much else to say on the second feature to Specialist.
Feature III: The third and final feature of Specialist allows you to walk crouched or prone faster.
--
Name: Scavenger
Feature I: Pretty obviously the main feature to Scavenger allows you to resupply from dead enemies, from this you can resupply rounds and lethal grenades.
Feature II: The second feature to this Perk allows you to resupply tactical grenades and equipment from dead enemies.
Feature III: HAVENT DECIDED.
--
Name: Sleight of Hand
Feature I: The main feature to Sleight of Hand allows you to reload all weapons faster. Not much else to it.
Feature II: The second feature to Sleight of Hand gives you the ability to ADS faster.
Feature III: The final feature to Sleight of Hand allows you to switch weapons faster. Not much else to this Perk.
--
Name: Reflexes
Feature I: The main feature of Reflexes allows you to use your knife a lot quicker.
Feature II: The second feature to Reflexes grants you less flinch when shot at.
Feature III: The final feature to Reflexes allows you to crouch/prone/stand up a lot quicker.
--
Name: Sharpshooter
Feature I: The main feature of this Perk doesnt reduce your recoil but it makes it more controllable and more predictable. For example, it will recoil more in the middle and top rather than to the left and right every so often, this Perk doesnt decrease recoil, thats what Grip is for.
Feature II: The second feature to Sharpshooter increases your hip fire accuracy.
Feature III: The final feature to Sharpshooter reduces your idle sway, you can also hold your breath longer if you have a sniper rifle equipped.
--
Name: Bling
Feature I: Allows you to equip three attachments to your primary weapon (default being 2).
Feature II: The second feature to Bling allows you to equip two attachments on your secondary (default being 1).
Feature III: The final feature to Bling allows you to equip two pieces of equipment.
NOTE: This Perk cannot be combined with a Grenade Launcher, and normally Grenade Launchers take up two attachments.
--
Name: Weapon Master
Feature I: The first feature to Weapon Master replaces your secondary with another primary weapon.
Feature II: The second feature allows you to drop no weapon on death.
Feature III: The third and final feature allows you to equip a pistol of your choice along side.
--
Name: Bandoiler
Feature I: This Perk is pretty much the pro to Scavenger along with some extra helpful features. The main feature to this Perk allows you to spawn with full ammunition at the start of matches and every time you respawn. Very helpful when it comes to big games, combined with Scavenger this feature makes it dominant.
Feature II: The second feature to this Perk allows you to have up to two lethal grenade slots and three tactical grenade slots. You also spawn with the extra grenades.
Feature III: The third and final feature of this Perk allows you to hold three extra magazines onto your loadout. So if your gun usually holds 200 bullets and each mag was 30 bullets you would end up with 290 bullets, if you combine this with Scavenger it will be dominant over one man army and teamplay operations.
--
Name: Tactician
Feature I: Allows you to take no falling damage.
Feature II: You can throw grenades quicker and farther.
Feature III: The final feature to Tactician allows you to reset the fuse on grenades when throwing them back.
--
Name: Infiltrator
Feature I: Your footsteps are silent.
Feature II: Enemy equipment no longer affects you unless its a proximity explosive.
Feature III: Your knifing, defusing, reloading and etc is now silent.

Name: Engineer
Feature I: You can see enemy equipment through walls.
Feature II: You can now booby trap enemy airdrops and you can hack enemy equipment.
Feature III: Finally, you can defuse the bomb quicker in bomb based game modes.
--
Name: Navigator
Feature I: Enemies who have shown on the radar now last longer before fading, in addition it also shows the direction enemies are facing.
Feature II: You are no longer affected by Counter UAVs.
Feature III: Finally, enemies close to you will get their radar slowly jammed, the closer they get.

3) UAV
4) Counter UAV
4) SAM Turret
4) Care Package
5) Precision Air Strike
5) Sentry Gun
