So I'm petting my cat and I hear a noise behind me then my cat starts staring at something behind me with scared eyes then I turn round and there's nothing there????

that happens to me all the time with my dog
i hear a noise when i am stroking my dog or something then my dog just stares where the noise came from
nothing scary, it could be anything
