I totally agree with this! I used to play CoD 1,2,3 on my PS2. Then I got an Xbox for Christmas in '09. Iv'e been back and forth from gamestop trying to find a good game other than the CoD series. I kinda like Dead Rising and Medal of Honor. But good thoughts and topic about this! 8)

i started with halo then switched to call of duty but its not the series that has gone really downhill, its the players. They're all a bunch of little kids that use cheap tactics because they suck and it makes the series unplayable. I have also found it gets much harder to enjoy a game when I became good at call of duty because then there is no desire to use crappy weapons just for fun.

first i do not only own COD i own halo, RDr and BF. But because the only conclussion that you give is that BF is the best game of all time, but COD is just more fun than BF i played them both and i still play them.

I do no such thing, sir. I suggest that people who only play CoD try something else. I say this because CoD is one of the more poorly made FPS games of this generation. Like I say in the rant, it's been using the same failing formula for years. People buy the game because they know nothing else.

they use the same formula because that is what made COD big, not because of the amazing graphics but just the fun of playing a fast paced game.

I agree completely. CoD4 was such a huge transition, but most of my friends are "zombies" as you would say it and they say MW2 was an amazing game. And I always say "no, its a noobs game" but anyway nice post

i agree in some places for sure. Also cod4 is the best cod ever. for the real players anyway. Then there is these kids that only havv eplayed mw2 and black ops and its like omg wow mw2 is amazzing. its good but not as good as cod4

That was a very interesting post but I disagree with it. I myself am not what you call a 'zombie', I got bored of modern warfare 2 towards the end and disliked black ops from virtually the start. But I loved CoD 4 and CoD 5. Why? Because they were my first Call of Duty games. Most people who played from CoD 4 all the way to black ops are starting to get bored as it's extremely repetitive, having to prestige many times, unlock countless things only to find that when they've completed that, a new CoD is just around the corner where they have to do the same thing all over again. However anyone who has never played a CoD game that much and is starting off with Black ops is going to love it due to the fact they're new to it all. Eventually when lets say CoD 10 releases (and lets say no significant changes occur) these people that started out on black ops will find it boring, stop playing and start to complain like the majority of us are now. Then along comes a new bunch of players to buy CoD for the first time and start the process all over again.

Well I agree with everything you've said there. That process is sure to happen with MW3. But it will most likely be downscaled. Too many people bored of Call of Duty. Maybe they'll try a new game. Halo, Gears, Battlefield. All great games.
