My iphone is is/was jailbroken. I tried to update it manually. and it got bricked or something because it wont turn on or hook up to itunes. if i take it back to apple store and say that while i was trying to update it regularly through itunes it froze then shut off, and didnt turn back on, would that be fine and they would replace it? or would they be able to see somehow that it was jailbroken before and not replace it?
thanks
thanks

have you tried holding down the home+sleep buttons at the same time? that might work..
also, are you saying that it is currently jailbroken? if you restored it they probably won't know
I need like more information because there is most likely a way to fix it.

I had it jailbroken on 4.3.2.. then i tried to restore it so i could update it to 4.3.3, by using tiny umbrella. all of the attempts to restore it failed at a 6000 code. the phone was stuck on the Hook up to Itunes logo. SO i went to my jailbreaking application:redsn0w and just booted it tethered. then it turned on and worked. within 5 minutes i went and looked at my phone again and it was completely off and it wouldnt turn back on at all, or be recognized in itunes.

Is your device hooked up to iTunes and does it show on iTunes if it is. If so click the restore button. Hope this helps.
