Yes that's right..i'm not sure if that firmware is jailbreakable though..i suggest you downgrade to 4.1

to do that, simply go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and download 4.1 for your corresponding iDevice. (you need a computer btw) and after that, open up iTunes and hold down the Shift key and click on restore. Make sure you select the firmware you downloaded previously and let iTunes/the iPod do its thing. After that, download RedSn0w for Windows [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or for the Mac [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Once your to that point, open up RedSn0w and do what it says. When it asks you for the corresponding IPSW thats the file you downloaded earlier. Select that and once it's verified, check these boxes:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
