Jtag FAQ

What will a jtag let me do?
A Jtag will allow you to host 10th lobbies for MW2 and MW1, Halo 3 map modding,emulators, homebrew and computer softwear


The different motherboard revisions
Xenon
Zephyer
Falcon
Jasper


Xenon - This is the original xbox motherboard this board has a failure rate of 30% and will take Type 1 and Type 2 Keyvaults.

Zephyer - This is revision to the original motherboard this motherboard will only take Type 2 Keyvaults

Falcon - This is revision to the original motherboard which has a failure rate of 10% and will only accept Type 2 Keyvaults.

Jasper - This is revision to the original motherboard which has a failure rate of 1% and will only accept Type 2 Keyvaults.

What is a keyvault?
The keyvault is what Microsoft identify your xbox by and that is what they ban.


How long does a keyvault last online?
A keyvault can last between 1 minute to 6 hours(usually 2 hours minimum).

yeah and you forgot zephyr bro. and kv's almost usually last at a mininum of 2 hours

I know they usually last 2 hours but i have seen ones that last 1 min

Jtags can run emulators, homebrew, computer softwear


And you don't need a friend that knows how to work a jtag

Technically, a keyvault can last to - as I've heard - seventeen hours. But they can get extremely expensive, most people I know go with 5 - 6 hour keyvaults. And for the motherboards... did you only add JTAGable motherboards? There are more motherboards you've forgotten.
