you need to be aware that if he gets banned they ban via xbox not profile make sure the games you get are correct and patched xboxiso.com is the best place to get the games from

if he gets xbox banned calling microsoft will not get you unbanned it turns your xbox into a paperweight make sure you dont get him new titles like people are playing MW2 thats like waving a red flag also make sure the games are out you already know that sometimes xbox can freeze and say your banned when your not i get that now and then just reboot the xbox and see what it does then

Ok it seems that his xbox was banned but something on microsofts end has messed up and has unbanned him 3 other people have messaged me saying WTF i was banned and now im not

so i think there ban wave banned him then unbanned due to there system thinking hes legit

Firmware version 1.51 is what these people are using and being unbanned with

this has happened to me too. for 20 minutes i was console banned, and now...on teh same console im not. (running on 1.51 aka the magic firmware. lol)

i suggest using that firmware, everyone else who doesnt have it....has been banend.

quick update on the mysterious ban- he was able to play as normal after being unbanned then at about half eleven last night he got the same message from microsoft to say he was banned (again). hes playing football this morning so i ll get him to check his xbox later. just received my copy of ghostbusters from a trusted website this morning and im s**t scared to play it in case the other xbox gets banned as well lol xx

yup its still banned so phone microsoft and suprise suprise got thru to some call centre in india and got the ususal translation problems :idea: and was told yes he was still banned for violation of blah blah blah

PS3 fails too be honest No offence but if my mum took away my 360 and brought me home a PS3 i'd throw it out the window, I hate them xD Your son might like them though and can you get PS3's flashes / chipped ? I didn't think you could Then again, i'm a PS3 noob so don't listen to me

hi andy my 19 year old just bought a ps3 yesterday. in the last year hes had 3 yes thats right 3 red ring of deaths so xbox went out the window lol. only thing is to buy a new or used console cos as you know mw2 is out and hes really soiling his pants now
