Thats fair enough, my dads console just got the red rings, he rang them up with 2 days left on his warrenty. They told him ALL 360's now have 3 years warrenty, not 1.

Oh by the way, where was your sons xbox located to get 3 red rings 3x ? It need to be in an open area, not all cooped up so that could of been the problem.

it was sitting on its end like normal and on a wooden floor. just his luck to get a dodgy console lol
