I'm looking into building a Custom computer and wanted some outside opinions on it. What i had in mind was:

Processor: Intel Core i7-950 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Power Supply: Apevia Java ATX-JV650W [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 570 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Hard Drive: Western Digital RE4 250GB [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Is this a good setup and is there anything I may have missed? Will this work out?
(I know I didn't put a DVD Drive in there.)

you should get a bigger hard drive, higher wattage psu, and instead if the gtx, get a Radeon HD 6970 2GB, only $5 more

Go with the 1155 chips instead of the 1336 chips. No point in going with older, more expensive chips that lose to 1155 chips in benchmarks.

A solid p67 motherboard. Asus is one of my favorites.

Nice heatsinks with SLI abilities.

You skimped on the power supply. When choosing a PSU, the name means everything. The PSU you listed is trash and will NOT give out the wattage listed. You always want to get a solid power supply that outputs nice clean reliable power.

You're going to want to go with a 2x4 GB kit of ram since it won't take up all of your ram slots. It was also allow you to upgrade to more RAM is you desire. Make sure it's 1.5 v or lower.
