I'm not "hating" on anyone/anything. I'm just simply pointing out the irony of your post. What makes a gold member any less of a leech, or a non-gold member anymore of one? Because they paid $6, or had someone pay $6 for them?

If he released it in the gold section...people would either would wait for it to leak into the general forums (which it would happen, I'd say w/in 5 min of it being posted), or just pay $6 to get it. So would them paying $6 all of a sudden make them less of a leech? Honestly...I just don't get it.

I understand your point about sharing things with the community. Look what happened when coders "shared" binds in MW2...it was patched w/in a month. Now...everyday people are coming here complaining how everyone ruined MW2 mods, because people abused the exploits. What do you think would happen if everyone with a JTAG could now get online? All of a sudden, everyone would act responsibly, and MS wouldn't notice what was going on? Answer...NO. The bypass would be patched, and we're all back to where we started.

Just because people aren't sharing the method to go online, it doesn't mean people don't try to release stuff to help others out. Within a day of it being released, we already have a new freeboot for 13599. How is that not helping? Team FSD updates their software constantly. People create patches and mods for all sorts of games. Just because the few that can get online and are not releasing their method...all of a sudden everyone keeps everything to themselves? Again...I just don't get it. There is more to do with a JTAG than getting on XBL, and thanks to those who have posted and contributed...we can still enjoy all those benefits.

If you had the method of going on XBL...YOU created it...tell me honestly...would you release it to where others could claim it for their own, abuse it to where MS patches it, and ruin all your hard work? I'm sure the answer would be no.

honestly (i dont know alot about jtag patches and stuff) if it gets you back online with retails being able to join, you should either sell it to a select few or if you feel comfortable, realease in gold members downloads ( if you are comfortable with leechers and someone might leak it but they would be banned imediatly and post would get deleted

release how to get online, but if you find out how to get retails to connect, my oppinion dont even release that, but release the checks thing your doing, but only release it to gold, that way microsoft *shouldnt* find out, and it will never be patched, but ONLY release it to the gold section

ok well still he shouldnt release it because then people in the gold section leak it and take credit for it so theres not point of releasing if its gunna get patch because of all the leechers on this site
