I think it's too strict in Germany Poor Stelter can't play Nazi Zombies with us

Censorship is too strict it is not like kids are stupid enough to go out and live their life on a video game, by that i mean they won't do what the game does. I don't go out turning off microwaves saying bomb defused i mean come on.

I have to answer, it is too strict.
I am speaking from the UK (England) as a 13 year old!
I have played 18+ games since I was 11, mainly call of duty and I have never thought about getting a gun and shooting someone up, or running someone over like in GTA:IV.
I believe if your parents teach you what is real and what isn't, and you have a good upbringing there is no problem killing people on a game as it releases tension and stress.
I think there should be RECOMMENDED age ratings.
So a 13 year old could walk into a store and buy Modern Warfare 3, but with a warning.

Video games arn't bad. All its doing is giving us entertaniment. So its al right at the moment since we all can get along and what is on TV is alot worser

Well this argument can be fought from two sides

1.One where some people might say that no its not where it should be because you do in rare occasions she video game related deaths (Trying to be like GTA).So if your coming from this point of veiw what really should be the age to play video games :/ Do u have to be mature enough if so how do they test to see Ermm . . . . ?

2.This point could be seen as like why would u need to raise the age people know if they see a 18 game that its not going to be suitable for a young child and that No harm can be done by a video game and its only a bit of fun

I think that they freak out when the see a terrorist attack in a game.

I've been playing 18+ games (UK) since I was 12, you don't see me running around with a gun in my pocket and a whore in my bed.

It really is all down to the parent/guardian. My parents always let me try the game, then if it was to graphic for me, it would be taken away.

So yeah, game censorship is un-needed in my opinion.

This is why they have ratings such as E for everyone to M for mature.

I do not believe that it is too strict. I believe that 18 is a little much to play a video game. I am not seeing the point in why "call of duty" games are mature. Yes you kill fake characters, but just cause their is "killing" involved does not mean it should be for mature. That is my opinion on "M" games.

Now i have not seen an "AO" (adults only) game. I do believe that an extreme amount of sex in a game is not the best for some youngsters. I and many others probably would enjoy sex haha but putting it in games is not a good idea to me. The fact that you putting a virtual penis in a virtual vagina (excuse my language ) is disgusting to me. I believe that it encourages many people to strain and or strive to have sex. Its NOT ok, in my opinion of course

@SchoeeY : I did not know that in Germany nazi zombies was banned... I realize that its NAZI zombies but i honestly do not see the issue in that.
