Use Photoshop, look up some tutorials. The size is 100x100

Use photoshop or Gimp or visit the graphics board and there are many shops that will make you one for free

You can use gimp 2 it is free or adobe photo shop cs5 they are both free you can look on youtube for the free download for ps cs5 and how to use it and make avatars and stuff

photoshop or gimp or if u suck at graphics then go to a shop
