i was in about 1 mile away from new york city in 1st grade(:, my mom and my future step dad(they had never met, what a coincidence) had a meeting at the twin towers
the night before my mom got a call and was told her meeting would be rescheduled
my now step dad(didnt know him back then) was told to turn around when he was on the george washington bridge
scary right?

I was with my mum picking up my brother from school when I heard about it on the local radio station. My mum was like "OMGWTFBBQ" and I was like "lulz" because I didn't know what was going on until I found out some more in depth details and a few graphic documentaries about it then I was like "ZOMGWTFBBQ"

I think I was in kindergarten/pre school. We heard it over the announcements I think. We didn't get to go home... But yea... RIP for all those in 9/11!
