The bevel and emboss included on the background isn't really working. I don't really like the white line on the top of the background layer, it's too noticeable and maybe you should consider lowering the opacity down a little bit. The bottom half of the background has a very large white glow included on the bottom bar. Remove that or do something different with it. The text is alright but there's too much bevel and emboss featured on it.
Good job so far though.

Way too much bevel, use some brushes so its not so plain.
