Some people are ACTUALLY LEGIT,you have to just find the right person.
1.If you get into a lobby,and the "host" says he needs some donations like 1600 MSP before he can start the lobby,he is usually lying and he is going to scam you!
^The 1600MSP scam was extremely popular right before the map pack comes out,it has died down a bit now.
2.Sometimes people will link a livestream of a tenth lobby that isn't even theirs.
3.
If somebody says message <enter> and say "you fail at life!" or any insult they're trying to get their "friend" spam.
4.
Anyone telling you too download a toolbar is most likely scamming,whenever you download somebodies toolbar they get 0.40$ (40 cents) for each time somebody downloads the toolbar.

People who tell you to subscribe too <insert>,BUT sometimes people are legit and I've seen legit people ask for subs and invite but it's EXTREMELY rare.
6.
Negative rep is a huge no-no,BUT some people with hundreds of rep will sometimes randomly give people a huge un-fair amount of negative rep. If they have something over 100- rep from individual -rep then they're probably scamming.
7.Asking for +rep,this is self explanatory. Before you even think about +repping them check the thread too see if there is any feedback....
8.Anyone asking for you too sign up for a site called "Lockerz" is trying too scam you,they get money/"items" for each time they get someone to sign up on the site.

TIP(s)
1.90% of the time if there is a legit FREE lobby host,do not reply too the thread with your gamertag...the lobby gets so full so fast and almost no lobby hosters are going to look through a ten page thread just to individually type your gamertag in. Private chat them or message them..BUT if the thread says too ONLY post your gamertag on the thread then do that..
The more spam you the lobby host,the more you spam the less chance you'll get in and you'll probably get blocked
I will also add more tips in a little bit,I hope this thread helps everyone and reduces the amount of scammers on this site.
