Ive been getting disconnected a lot for the last month or so. I ALWAYS have to test connection before i sign in and peoples gamertags both on friend list and in game have been coming up with ??????

are you getting xbox live from your computer/laptop ? if so, restart your computer/laptop, and turn off your console. It should work.

I downloaded this prohram off ttg that automatically port forwards xbox live for you. It took about an hour to do everything but it was simple enough. But yeah, I would definitely contact your isp and see if they can tell you whats wrong from their end. Also, a lot of times they can see if your being "booted offline".

this happened to me the other day i tried to sign in and it it kept saying i need to test my connection and it was fine then i tried it again then it didnt work so i kept signing i then eventually it let me sign in
