Supporting collor blind people
While there have been many announcements about the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, many gamers certainly would not have expected to hear that Modern Warfare 3 will color blind friendly gaming features. It has been stated that Modern Warfare 3 will support color blind gamers by incorporating certain elements into the graphics that make greens more distinguishable from reds, reds distinguishable from greens, and so on.

The fact of the matter is that being able to distinguish between different types of colors such as red and green can mean the difference between winning and losing. In first person combat situations, the simply is no room for mistakes in the decision making process, and being able to make quick judgment calls based on the green and red colors, which are the two colors used to indicate allies and enemies, is imperative. It seems that around 10% of all gamers experience some level of colorblindness, and unfortunately in past releases this would have greatly affected their gaming experience.

Color blind gamers have had to deal with this issue simply by coming up with workarounds for particular scenarios where the decision making process was hindered by this vision deficiency. In the next release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, gamers can expect not to have to go through this type of trouble because developers are taking this type of handicap into account. How? One thing that is being done to cater to the needs of color blind gamers is having different color schemes available. Gamers who normally have trouble seeing shades of red and green will be able to choose different colors which they are able to see more easily.

It appears that for the time being the developers of Modern Warfare 3 are focusing more on the multiplayer gaming mode and may or may not be incorporating the color scheme options into the single player mode just yet.

Killstreaks Changing

One change that is being made to the game is the way that killstreaks work, which is something that many gamers simply were not impressed with in Modern Warfare 2. Robert Bowling has made mention to the fact that the killstreaks system is being changed with regard to how it works. While we have not received any details on what these changes actually include, we can only speculate on what is being done and hope for the best.

Survival Mode

One of the best new features that will make its way onto the scene when Modern Warfare 3 is released is survival mode. Survivial mode, much like the Zombie mode that is experienced when playing Zombies, will give gamers the opportunity to enjoy extended gameplay when playing in all types of gameplay modes including multiplayer and single player modes.

Dual Scope(YES)

Perhaps one of the most unique new features that gamers will find available in MW3 is the dual scope mode which allows you to have two scopes on the same weapon at the same time. Now players will be able to quickly switch from one type of scope to the next.

These are just a few of the new features that gamers can look forward to with the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 3. Infinity ward is also adding better post release support in order to provide gamers with a better overall gaming experience.
