My mate done it with just normal paint, what you use on walls etc, he sanded the controller a bit so it was rough then the paint stayed on, he sanded it because the paint wouldnt stay on the smooth controller

I would just buy a different colored controller. I wouldn't paint the controller it would feel weird.

Two things don't do what the guy said above about painting your controller with normal wall paint and if his friend did that he is a retard and what is suggest you use and i have used this before and you get i nice smooth effect from it is just using normal car spray paint such as gloss or metallic and you can probably get some from your local hardware shop or garage, and make sure you put at least 5 coats of paint on so put 1 coat on, wait for it to dry and so on...
hope this helps

K No you all wroung. For the paint to use would be and is what i used a tons of controllers would be: Krylon Fusion Spry paint For plastic. and For the clear coat would be Krylon Fusion Clear Coat. And Primer to use is Adhesion Promoter . You could get all that at your local Auto zone or car shop for about $4.95 a can each. And here is a link on how to paint to the controller [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Just follow that video and you should be good
