Hi guys i asked this question yesterday and found out the answer so i am putting a post up to share with the guys who dont.
Right i bet a lot of people have wondered how do they record videos off gameplay from the xbox (or any games console) well all they are doing is using a capture card its simple. I have created a items you will need list for those who are wanting to set one up.
I have included a video to show you guys how to set one up ( I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THE VIDEO AS IT IS NOT MINE)
Items you will need:
1) 1 Xbox 360
2) 1 Pinnacle Platinum 170 DVC Capture Card - Found here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
3) Pinnacle software cds (come with the Capture Card)
4) 3 A/V splitter cables ($2.99 @ Radio Shack) Found online here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
5) 1 Double Sided A/V cable (Red, Yellow, White A/V plugs on both ends! About $29.99)
Hope this Helps Al Capone IV

The only thing different with platinum is it's got 8% better quality, and then the only difference is the price range.
